"Should I paint the truck? I have days left in town before driving 5,400 miles across the country", that's what was plaguing my mind for weeks before launching my brand and advertising on the road.
After some convincing from several of my friends, we were off to find paint. My cousin tipped me off to Angela with Single Source Painting in Decatur, Alabama.
We hit it off, and before I knew it, it was like she was a part of the team. Angela was just as engaged with finding the perfect color as we were.
She said, "This is the first time in 25 years of business that I have ever seen someone take a paintbrush outside and start painting their vehicle."
She even had a hand at painting a few shades on the fender herself.
After 3 hours of laughing at stories, talking business and googling different colored humvee's, we decided on the perfect color for our cross-country mascot.
